What do you love about CBC?
I love the culture. Its so refreshing to be in an environment where you can work hard, but have fun at the same time.
What is your greatest source of enjoyment in recruitment?
Looking for work can be a stressful time in people’s lives. I enjoy providing peace of mind and reassurance to our candidates that we will be their best advocate and find the right job for them. It gives me immense joy to see people succeed and reach their dreams and goals.
Where do you feel you add value to candidates who are looking for work?
I have been in the same position as our candidates, chasing my dreams or looking for work so I understand what that’s like. My value to our candidates and clients is being there for support. Also, I am usually the first person they see at CBC so I like to make a good impression. Behind the scenes, I provide support to the consultants with anything they need to assist them with their work. It’s great to have such a variety of tasks – no day is the same.
What’s your recruitment super power?
I pride myself on being an optimistic, positive person who has a genuine desire to help those around me.
If you asked a client to describe you, what would they say?
I am helpful, understanding and motivated to meet our clients’ needs.
Can you tell us about the most memorable moment of your career?
I don’t have one single stand out moment as to me, every day is memorable when you are working with people to help them achieve their career goals.
Is there a client, candidate or project that stands out?
Project ‘career change’ is my personal stand out. I was switching direction when CBC offered me a position as part of their amazing team. This has been my career highlight to date.
