WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT CBC?
Meeting candidates who are looking for work and playing a part in their journey is something I really enjoy. I am usually the first point of contact when people call or visit the office, so it’s important that I make that experience a positive one.

WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST SOURCE OF ENJOYMENT IN RECRUITMENT?
We all know what it feels like to be a candidate, I find I can use my experiences to relate to the stresses of finding a job. The fact that I work at CBC who matched my skills and experience with their own in-house vacancy, really motivates me. The consultants at CBC are highly skilled and really make everyone they see, feel at ease. I am proud to be part of that process as I know employment success can happen for them too.

WHAT’S YOUR WORK-RELATED SUPER POWER?
Having a good phone manner and strong customer service skills are two of my core strengths. I am proud to represent CBC and understand the value of being able to connect with the people who I see and speak to. I am an active listener and well organised, which means I can be highly effective in my role.

CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT THE MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT OF YOUR CAREER?
A candidate came into the office to say thank you to the whole CBC team for helping her secure a role. It was lovely to see how grateful she was and how we had made such a positive impact on her life.

IS THERE A SPECIFIC PROJECT OR ACHIEVEMENT AT CBC THAT STANDS OUT?
Being part of a well-known and respected recruitment agency in Cairns, makes me proud of where I work, and the people who I work with.
